REVIEW: Run With Perseverance (& GIVEAWAY)

Who doesn't love CUTE workout gear?! Just because we are sweating like pigs (that means it's working, right?! Or at least that is what I tell myself), doesn't mean we have to look all lame and frumpy, right?!

Well, I FOUND AWESOME RUNNING TANKS AND NEED TO SPREAD THE WORD!! I was on Etsy the other day and I came across Run With Perseverance. As soon as I clicked on a couple of the tops I KNEW I found gold! I think I want one of every single design!

I sent Kathy, the owner, a message, seeing if she would be interested in me doing a review and giveaway of her AMAZING gear (although it seems as though she needs NO HELP selling her sweet stuff). I was THRILLED to hear back that she wanted to team up!

We emailed back and forth a few times, and low-and-behold I realized I ALREADY HAD one of her AWESOME tank tops!

You see, for Christmas 2012, my sister-in-law got me a super cute tank top. We were running the runDisney Princess Half Marathon together in February of 2013, so she knew it would be a perfect gift! It said "Forget the glass slipper, this princess wears running shoes". It was so perfect, in fact, that I ended up wearing it for the race!

Those runDisney wake-up calls are EARLY on the East Coast!

Me and my sister-in-law before the 2013 Princess Half Marathon

Me with my bling (I was able to get my "Coast-to-Coast" medal as well because I had run the Tinker Bell Half Marathon the month before)

Although I had worn this sports bra MANY times before, due to the heat and humidity the color ran all over my tank and skin. I was so sad that I ruined my new tank top. THANKFULLY soaking the tank in cold water for the afternoon got it looking brand new!

Kathy was so sweet and offered to send me another one of her tanks so that I could review it. OF COURSE I ACCEPTED WITH OPEN ARMS!! I have to say, I was more than a little giddy when the package arrived.

I knew right away that I would wear the tank for my upcoming California 10/20 race. The race was 10 miles along the Pacific Coast - a PERFECT place to preview the top! I knew I would be "Kickin' Asphalt" the whole way, so figured the tank would go GREAT!

"Flat Carlee" all ready the night before the race

Ready to KICK SOME ASPHALT!

Hubby and I before the race (yes, there was a dense fog advisory, hence the thick marine layer)

Inaugural California 10/20 Finisher!

We did it - and finished with SMILES on our faces!

This is what the Olympians do with their medals, right?!

The tank tops are DEFINITELY great workout attire! The material is super soft, breaths well (even in insanely hot and humid weather), doesn't bunch or ride up (even when a bib is pinned to it), and is SUPER CUTE to boot! I would (and WILL) wear these tanks when I'm not working out too, so don't think these are only running tanks - you can wear them every day as well! Also, I know the rule of thumb in running is to never wear anything new on race day (since you don't know how it will feel, if it will rub funny, etc), but I wore these tanks for the first time during these races and had ZERO issues. And like the tag line says, these tanks will "getcha noticed" - I received MANY compliments (I even had one of the official photographers on the California 10/20 course call me out by the tank!).

And YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO WIN YOUR VERY OWN! Kathy has graciously offered up a tank top from her Etsy store for one lucky winner! That lucky lady (or gentleman... shoot, maybe he is trying to win it for his lovely lady) will be able to select any of the tanks (in whatever color you would like) from the Run With Perseverance store!

*~*Good luck!!*~*

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I think I would pick the "though she be but little, she is fierce" tank - especially since that was the quote I just got as my most recent tattoo!! {HINT HINT to my hubby}

I love this Blog! If I were to pcik my tank I would pick "eat clean run dirty" or one that's not on Etsy site as I have some close friends in the fight and other who have beat it and some that have lost the battle - "BOOBS like these are worth fighting for" with pink ribbon and names on the back.
