Workout Recap - Week 36

Sunday, September 1st  Rest day (travel back from camping weekend)

Monday, September 2nd –  60 minutes on the stationary bike

Tuesday, September 3rd – 4 mile lunch run

Wednesday, September 4th – 60 minutes on the stationary bike

Thursday, September 5th – 4 mile run

Friday, September 6th  60 minutes on the stationary bike

Saturday, September 7th – 120 minutes on the stationary bike

Originally Saturday was going to be a long run day, but we're in the middle of a heatwave (in the high 90s at the beach till the end of next week) and football to watch (#Priorities), so I decided to stay home and bike in front of the fan and TV ;) [With the high temps, lunch runs seem to be off the calendar for the foreseen future, but I've got to say, when I am able to do them, I really enjoy them {strange, since I've always been an early morning runner}!] Since there are no races on the docket, I'm giving myself the leeway to run when I WANT instead of run when some hypothetical schedule says I should!

Walt Wednesday

Some people do a "Wordless Wednesday" post, where they simply share a photo or image, but I thought I'd make a little series out of my Wednesdays. Workout Recap - Week 35

Sunday, August 25th  10K to start the day (down in San Diego)

Monday, August 26th –  60 minutes on the stationary bike

Tuesday, August 27th – 5K to end the day

Wednesday, August 28th – 6 mile run [after my annual mammogram appointment and before work]

Thursday, August 29th – 60 minutes on the stationary bike

Friday, August 30th  Rest Day

Saturday, August 31st – 4 trail mile run with the hubby

Definitely a bit of a "different" week, but I'm proud that I was able to get in what I did when and where I did. I had to pick up the hubby from the airport on Sunday (I normally don't share that he is out of town until he is back #SafetyFirst), so I got in a few miles down in San Diego before his flight got in. Then Wednesday I had an early morning appointment so was able to squeeze in a run between getting down with my boob squeeze (aka mammogram) and having to open the store. The hubby, pup and I went camping at the end of the week for Labor Day and I was STOKED that Ry packed his handheld water bottle so we could run WITHOUT ME ASKING! Might not be racking up big milage, but I'm out there!
