Ryan and I are planning on getting a Disney Annual Pass - YAY!!! We have gift certificates that we can use for the day pass (thanks for the Christmas gifts!!) and then Disney is now offering monthly payment plans to pay off the rest. We can pay it off in monthly installments and then on our birthday since we will have annual passes if we go on our birthday they will give us $70 in Disney bucks that we will be able to use to pay off the balance. So in total I think we may be paying about $20 for annual Disney passes!! YAY!!! I did some research online about the monthly pay plan and I found this great blog that a woman spoke about it, check it out here. We are planning on going up on Sunday with some friends!! I'm sure we will post pictures later!! YAY!!! YOU SAY MICKEY I SAY MOUSE!!

Hand Model
Last Friday I was a hand model for our company. Sounds weird, but we are adding some websites and they had an idea of using the employees in the pictures. I will post the link to the website when the sites are done, but I thought I would post the few pictures that my hands made it in. :) Do you think I have a future in this?! HA!
Walking For a Cause
Dear Friends & Family:
A life is lost to suicide every 16 minutes in the United States. Suicide is the third leading cause of death among fifteen to twenty-four year olds and the second leading cause of death among college students. However, most Americans remain unaware that suicide is a national health problem. The impact suicide has on the lives of family members, friends, co-workers and the community is devastating. The loss of human potential is enormous.
On October 17th, 2009, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) will host its fourth, annual 5K Out of the Darkness Community Walk in San Diego, CA. We hope you will consider walking with us as we travel the beautiful paths at De Anza Cove in North Mission Bay to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention.
A major goal of this event is to show support for the families and friends of the 32,000 Americans who die by suicide, and the 20 million people who suffer from depression, each year. Support of the community walks also helps to raise funds for suicide prevention research and educational programs, erase the stigma surrounding suicide and its causes, and encourage those who are suffering from mental illness to see treatment.
On-line registration is now available at www.outofthedarkness.org. You may register individually or as part of a team. Please consider inviting your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to walk with you or to support your walk. If you are not able to join us, perhaps you would consider sponsoring a walker or making a donation to the San Diego walk. Check out my personal walker page here: http://afsp.donordrive.com/participant/mcdot.
Thank you ahead of time for your support in bringing suicide Out of the Darkness.
Sincerely,
Carlee

Free Sticker
Dear friends,
After a lot of years of devastating setbacks in the fight for marriage equality, it seems like we're finally moving in the right direction. With marriage legal in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont and Maine, and the fights going strong in New Hampshire, New York and California, this movement is gaining more momentum every day, and I'm excited to be a part of it.
To that end, I wanted to let you know that CREDO Action is giving away some awesome stickers about supporting gay marriage - I think you'd really like them. I just got mine - if you have a minute, click this link to check out the stickers and get one of your own (for free!).

Sneak Peak
Check out part of my new blog... This is what I have been working on lately... I don't want to put the Scrabble jewelry on my Etsy shop yet (since there are costs on posting every piece to my store, so I think I will put them up when people are interested in them). These are not the finished pieces... I have since put the bails on the Scrabble pieces. I hope to get new pictures taken and updated on the site. Let me know what you think - I hope you like them!!
Lets Go Wings!!
Blackhawks-Red Wings Preview
The Red Wings did just fine without Nicklas Lidstrom. Now they don't want to push their luck.
Detroit routed the Chicago Blackhawks 6-1 Sunday and took a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference finals. It was the only playoff game Lidstrom missed in his career.
Rookie Jonathan Ericsson filled in for the six-time Norris Trophy-winning defenseman, and the defending champions didn't miss a beat. Still, as well as Ericsson played, Detroit hopes it won't have to replace Lidstrom again in Game 5 on Wednesday night with a chance to reach the Stanley Cup finals.
The rest of the preview here.
LETS GO WINGS!!! ONE MORE GAME AND ITS OFF TO THE STANLEY CUP!!!

100th Find
Ryan and I found our 100th Geo Cache this afternoon!! We went out after lunch to find some and ended up finding 5 of them. When we got home and I was logging them I realized that we had found 99 so far. I looked around the neighborhood and there was a new one that was hid on the Oceanside Pier... We just got back and logged out 100th find!!! WHOOO HOOO!!! Okay, I know it takes most people less than 2 years to log their 100th find, but we aren't as die hard (especially since sometimes Becca doesn't like to help us)... YAY FOR THE RC PIRATES!!!
For more about geo caching, check out the official website here: http://www.geocaching.com/.

Fibro
My fibromyalgia has been kicking my butt this week... Little sleep, the right side of my body feels broke and I don't know if there is any relief in sight... Last night I slept from about 9pm till after 9:30am this morning, so I am hoping that this will start my body back on the path to being a little less painful... I am glad to have the three day weekend (an extra day to lay around I hope).

AFSP
Sincerely,
Carlee

Pro Bowler
Who knew?! I am a PROFESSIONAL BOWLER :) Just kidding. Ryan and I went bowling this afternoon (after he went out for his morning surf, of course). It is MAY GRAY lately and around our house it has been quite gloomy and overcast, so we decided we would go hit up Surf Bowl... And guess who won BOTH games we bowled? I KNOW, CRAZY, HUH?! I WON BOTH GAMES!! The first game was just warm up and I beat Ryan 75-74, but the second game I actually got 3 strikes and 3 spares - not too shabby, huh? The score of our second game was 115-97. I BROKE 100!! Impressive, huh? :)

Present-os
Ryan and I have gotten each other a couple presento's over the past week or so. (Okay, we have one bank account, so it is sort of like buying our own gifts since it is all our money, but you get the idea).
Anyway, I got a ring from Tilly's that I am LOVING. It's big and chunky and PEACEful of course :). I wear it as a thumb ring.
Ryan was looking for a Rasta beanie and found one on Urban Outfitters.com so I ordered it this morning while he was sleeping. It should come in th email soon and I am sure he will love sporting it around.

Together We Are Free
TOGETHER WE ARE FREE!!!
It’s impossible. But we’re in the business of doing the impossible. Oprah Winfrey came out to the crowd this morning, picked out Jason, Bobby, and Laren, and took them inside her studios to let them know SHE IS COMING TO THE RESCUE by modifying her show to include them today! The three filmmakers will be on in a half-hour locally, and nationally beginning at 4:00PM Eastern. Stay tuned for footage and more details, and congratulations to everyone who’s been a part of the Rescue!
