In the Monroe or Toledo area, bringing a reusable bag gets shoppers at Meijer's a $ .05 credit off the bill for each bag. Now, I admit it's only a nickel, but as Ben Franklin said, "If you take care of the pennies, the dollars will take care of themselves."
