Michigan Hires Rodriguez as New Head Football Coach

The University of Michigan officially introduced Rich Rodriguez to the public today (Monday, Dec. 17) as the 18th head coach in the history of Wolverine football. Terms of his contract will be announced at a later date.

Rodriguez, 44, comes to Ann Arbor after spending seven years as head coach at West Virginia University, where he led the Mountaineers to a 60-26 record, four Big East Conference titles and six consecutive bowl game bids.

Ryan thinks this could be a good switch for us, a spread offense. We will see. Honestly, I don't know much about the Mountaineers football team and therefore don't know much about Rodriguez, other than what I have read. I guess we will just have to see. What are your thoughts on the new Wolverine Head Coach?

Michigan football is back to business. However Michigan will have anotehr #1 QB from High school. He's mobile and runs forty in 4.4seconds. Thats faster than an QB in the past at UM. Just for for your info.
