Workout Recap - Week 40

Sunday, September 29th – 6 easy pace miles with the hubby, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Monday, September 30th – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Tuesday, October 1st – Rest day (had some lab work done, last time I worked out after I had blood taken I got VERY light headed, so I learned my lesson and took a rest day)

Wednesday, October 2nd – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Thursday, October 3rd –  Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Friday, October 4th – Assorted workouts (2x800s @ 7:30 mm, 4 miles on the beach @ 10:20 mm, 20 flights of stairs, 3 miles with the hubby), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Saturday, October 5th – 19.6 mile bike ride, Foam Rolled & Stretched 

I mentioned last week that I wanted to get in some speed workouts. I was able to do a few sprints on Friday, but with the weather I knew I would be really hurting by the end, so decided to switch it up a little instead. After Fridays workouts my legs have been PRETTY tired, but I have still been able to get some stuff done. 

This upcoming week I am calling my 5K Challenge! I had a Virtual 5K today (recap coming soon), The Color Run down in San Diego on Saturday, and a Pumpkin Run over in Escondido on Sunday. Ryan and I are thinking about trying to PR our 5K time on Sunday, so I am actually thinking of taking my rest day towards the end of the week to give my legs a little break beforehand.
