Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village

Since Ryan's sister and her family live in Rochester Hills, we wanted to be able to see them while we were back in Michigan. Aaron had the AWESOME idea to meet up and go to Greenfield Village (which is about mid-way between their house and my parents) and then we would go back home with them that night and could do ""Christmas morning"" the following day with the McClurg side. We met up for dinner and then headed over to Holiday Nights.

America's Premier Holiday Celebration
Step into a Christmas card from the past. Don’t miss the most popular holiday event in the area, complete with candlelit paths, live entertainment, costumed presenters, horse-drawn wagon and Model T rides, delightful holiday shops, Santa and live reindeer, ice skating, a spectacular fireworks display and more. It’s America’s premier holiday celebration!

We took a ride in Model T cars, we watched as some artists blew glass, we checked out some of the old homes and museums, got chased by 'circus mummers', rode the carousel, and of course took lots of pictures. We didn't stay for the fireworks (since it was pretty chilly and the boys had about enough of the outdoors), but it was definitely a fun outing - especially since both the Padot and McClurg sides were able to do it together!
