And no matter how long you've been visiting, you picked an AMAZING time to pop in because we're celebrating my #12DaysOfCarleesChristmas {read my post announcing this series HERE if you don't know what I'm talking about}.
Today is Day 2 of my #12DaysOfCarleesChristmas! And the prize today is pretty FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC! Although, to be honest, all of the prizes are absolutely AMAZEBALLS! If I could enter my own giveaways I'm pretty sure I would enter each and every one of them in this series (and somehow rig it so I'd win) because they are just that AWESOMESAUCE.
For today, DAY TWO, two winners will each receive a ROAD iD Trucker Hat and a set of three ROAD iD Stretch Bands.
When I started running I knew I needed to make sure I had safety nets in place (not only in case something happened, but also to alleviate the worry from my mom and hubby). One of my first running purchases (after shoes) was a ROAD iD.
I wish I could say nothing bad will ever happen to you, but I don't have a magical crystal ball that allows me to see into the future. The best thing to do is to pray that everything is rainbows and unicorns, but also prepare in case something unfortunate does occur. One way to be prepared (especially for us runners, bikers, adventurers, etc) is to have a ROAD iD. This little ID can talk for you if you are ever unable to talk for yourself. You can put all of your pertinent information on it (name, phone number, emergency contact, medical information, etc) just in case an accident does occur.
The brand's mission is two-fold: One, to educate outdoor enthusiasts about the importance of wearing ID. Two, to provide these athletes with innovative identification products that they will want to include as part of their gear. Their dream is to see the day where wearing ID is as common among athletes as wearing a seatbelt is among motorists.
For the past 5ish years I've been rocking the Sport ID (I have tiny wrists and those were the only ones I could small enough). I legit have seven colors (because you know I have to be #RunMatchy with my running gear, right?!).
I finally upgraded to the Elite ID a few months back and am STOKED! Not only do you get to cut the band as long as you need so it fits specifically on your wrist, but they also have fun badges you can add to customize your ID (I have one with a heart and one that says 'run')! Now if I could just get them to bring back to aqua/ turquoise colored band I'd be all set ;)
And before I get on with the giveaway, I have to brag a little more about this company. At ROAD iD, they truly believe in making a positive difference in the world. They mainly do this by creating awesome products that save lives and empower adventure, but they also love supporting causes they believe in and that share their mission. You see, giving back isn’t some secondary obligation - it’s a core value and a reason to exist. “Unicorns” is their pledge to donate a percentage of every order to a worthy organization, and since these donations cannot occur without your purchase, they let YOU DECIDE which charity benefits. In your shopping cart, simply select the charity closest to your heart and they do the rest. They have donated more than $1,000,000, and with your help, there’s plenty more where that came from!
Well, not only does ROAD iD offer wrist IDs, shoe IDs and even pet IDs, but they also have apparel! For this giveaway, they have offered up two prize packs - each with one of their new trucker hats and three of their logo stretchy bands! (PS The bands contain a "Goldilocks Guarantee"... Each size pack contains three band sizes to ensure a perfect fit.)
Also, this giveaway will last seven days, with the winners being picked (and notified) on the eighth day. The winners will have 24 hours to reply to the congratulations email from me to claim their prizes. That means, for this specific giveaway, it will end on December 8th at 11:59pm PST and the TWO winners will be chosen on December 9th.
And, finally, the winner must have a US mailing address. International shipping seems to cost an arm and a leg these days, and customs is a major headache, so to make it easier (and cheaper) on the brands who have offered up their products, the winners must live in United States of America (or at least have an address we can ship to within the US).
I normally don't wear it upside-down, but didn't want everyone having my personal info... #CanNeverBeTooCareful |

I have a great running belt that has an ID slot built in. I always throw my driver's license and insurance card in there when I'm out running. But a Road ID would be easier and more efficient.
I’ve only been on my running journey for two months and the awesome people at Fleet Feet gave me a Road id that you snap into the laces of your sneakers. These bands would definitely be a little more fashionable! Lol
Yes, I always carry my driver's license but sometimes it is difficult to find a spot for it.
I usually carry ID in the pouch of my hand held, but this would make it a lot easier for some to get what the need to help me quicker.
I have 2, one for my wrist and one for my stroller which has all my sons info on it. never leave home with out it. But I still need to update mine now that we moved a few months back.
I should carry one or this would be perfect
I don't but I really should. I think I convinced myself that because I'm just starting out and doing low mileage that there isn't a need for it. But I really do need to get something to carry.
I don’t carry ID when I am running. But now I’m thinking that I really should. It would be the safer and smarter thing to do
Yes! Always. All my running pants/shorts/top have a pocket where I carry my id.
I don't carry an ID but I guess I really should. I'm usually with my dogs and they have tags on.
Only sometimes :/ I should get better at this.
I keep an older expired drivers license in my running belt that way I don’t ever have to remember to take it in and out.
I don’t carry my ID except for at races. I wear my Road ID bracelet when I’m out for a longer run.
love Road ID, I use their app for early morning runs
I carry my ID when I race and when I drive somewhere to run. I always wear my Road ID. The only time I remove it from my wrist is when I'm dressed 'fancy' for a function or special occasion.
I never carry my ID when I run. So a road ID might be helpful!
I love RoadID-- it means I can leave my ID at home and not worry about losing it on the run.
This has been on my list of things to buy!!
I am a newbie of running from October. I dont carry any ID, as you have mentioned the road ID would be beneficial. Appreciated your shout out for the great item. Plu I do have allergies definitely this would replace the alert ID I have. Thank you.
This would be better than having to carry my License with me. I’m always worried I’ll lose my license while on a run and then have to spend hours upon hours getting a replacement at the DMV
Of course! I love my Road ID.
Last year we got the shoe ID tag for my grandmother who likes to go on walks but is starting to have memory issues. Best thing ever.
A Road ID was one of my first running accessories. I don't go out without one.
I don’t, but I should!
I carry my driver’s license when I race, but that’s it. Road ID has been on my list for so long, but I’ve never made it a priority, sadly!
I never carry id,but I should.
No, I don't, but i should!
Thanks for the chance...
Sure do!
I only carry my id when I know I'm going to need it for post-race alcohol purchases. I do have a road id bracelet that I wear the rest of the time. But I'm rethinking what version I have because I have a lot on my arms already.
Yes I do because it's in my phone case that goes with me.
I wear a RoadID!
Always wear my RoadID!!
I love my road ID, but my stretch band is pretty worn out and discolored. I've been meaning to buy a new one but with a new baby around, other expenses have trumped that. Would love to win a prize pack! Thanks, Carlee!
I always throw my license and a few dollars in my hydration pack or running belt, but have been eye-ing a Road ID for a while!
I do carry my ID most of the time. I need to upgrade from the ID in sweaty sports bra method ♀️
I always carry my ID when I run. Usually I just try to find a place for it but it’s too valuable to lose, so I really need to figure out something for it!
Erin Artzner (the racer in pink)
I always do my long runs or runs away from home with my ID, insurance card, and a credit card. When I go by my house, I tend to only take my phone and key. But about three years ago, my doctor got annoyed with me that I didn't wear a bracelet with my allergies, so I finally bought a Road ID. I never take it off. However, I know that the stretch bands only last for "so long" and that eventually my band is going to break because that happened to someone else I know.
I always have my drivers license and business card next to my cell phone in my running pouch. I don't know why, but my CPR card is there too!
I have a RoadID, but it needs to my info needs update and there are so many new designs since I last bought one.
I use the RoadID app and my emergency contact & medical info are on my phone’s lock screen. I would love a RoadID bracelet though!

I have a Road ID shoe tag and love it! I sort of want one shoe tag on each of my pairs of runnign shoes so I don't have to think about it. ;) #runningsafetygoals perhaps?!?
I carry my DL in my pocket or fanny pack but, my wrist would be so much easier!

I should and I do during races. I do carry my phone during regular runs with emergency contacts programmed
I try to remember to carry ID with me at all times and have the medical info filled out in my phone, but having the important info easily accessible to first responders on a wrist ID is a great way to have peace of mind.
I have a few different Road IDs,and my pup has one too! I could always use new ones tho!
I carry an ID during races but not when I’m out in my neighborhood 😬 so I should probably consider getting one!
I actually don't run with my ID. I do have the RoadID app on my phone that I use when I remember to. I should be better about this! Growing up and living in a small town where you know everyone has made me way too trusting!
I dont carry my actual ID but I have a roadID!
I never carry ID
I don't run with an ID, and I know that I should. I used to have a RoadID a few years back, but the information on it is now outdated.

I love road id and use it when I run!
I don't carry an id, I should!
I never take my Road ID off, truly. I wear it to weddings, I wear it always. I was in an accident in college that rendered me unconscious and if I had a Road ID in 2001 it would have been a lot easier for people to know who I was and who to contact.
I carry my phone and my regular ID. I've wanted to get a Road ID forever but just not too sure who I'd have as a contact.
I try and remember to run with my road ID but I most definitely need to do better. Road ID is awesome tho!
I carry my roadid while running as well as my Drivers License for safe measure =)

I do not carry my ID but if I’m alone I always have my phone on me.
I usually just carry ID at races.
I do on long runs, but usually don't on shorter runs
I caryr my ID at races but not during training runs
I don't carry an ID, but I have my emergency info on my phone.
I always carry an ID and my insurance card with me when I run.
I don't. I just carry my phone.
I don't always carry an ID, usually for longer runs! But would love to have an easier wrist option to do so.
I do carry my DL and a credit card if I'm running long, or drive to the start of my run. Otherwise, I just run with my RoadID and my phone.
