And I NEVER want to wish the days away... But there's something about fall that is just so lovely. The cooler temperatures (and crossing my fingers - LOWER HUMIDITY), the changing of leaves, the return of FOOTBALL (Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions BABY!), hoodies, picking apples, the crisp air, bonfires (with s'mores of course), pumpkin patches, starting to listen to Christmas music (okay, okay, this might just be me, but I can't help it!), hot chocolate and carmel apples, the crock pot, candles (if only I had a fire place), etc.
I know, I know, it isn't technically "fall", but once football season starts up it might as well be, even if it doesn't say so on the calendar. This weekend Michigan plays Notre Dame, so I figured the PERFECT #TBT (Throw Back Thursday) picture would be from when Ryan and I were back in Ann Arbor with our families for the FIRST Under The Lights game at The Big House in 2011 where Michigan beat Notre Dame in the last TWO SECONDS! Let's cheer for the same outcome in this year's game! GO BLUE!
Let's be totally honest though, it isn't like there is much difference between seasons here in Southern California ;) And because of my love for warm weather and sunshine, I am totally okay with that! It's so apparent though that when Ryan and I do see leaves on the ground we point them out and yell "FALL". But, shoot, we can drive to see the seasons if we miss them that much :)
What's your favorite season? Are you looking forward to fall?
