Monday, August 19th – Elliptical for 60 minutes
Tuesday, August 20th – Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), Foam Rolled & Stretched
Thursday, August 22nd – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Not what I was expecting (being hit by a car or hiking a mountain) at the beginning of the week, but hey, it turned out alright. Planning on taking next week easy, since I have the Dumbo Double Dare at the end of the week (10K Saturday morning and Half Marathon Sunday morning). I think I will do my standard Monday and Tuesday workouts but then maybe take Wednesday and Thursday a little lighter with a rest day Friday. I know that my pace is going to be nice and easy for these two races (especially since I will be doing the half with Ryan - his very FIRST half marathon), but I still would like my legs to be rested and to prevent injury.
