Oh No Cobra...

Restaurant manager claims Miguel Cabrera threatened to kill him

Miguel Cabrera was involved in an altercation at a restaurant in Fort Pierce, Fla., hours before he was arrested on drunken driving charges last month, thesmokinggun.com reported Wednesday night.

The website published the statement a restaurant manager prepared for police and the sheriff's report from Cabrera’s arrest.

Suffice to say, the reports detail an even uglier incident than what has been released.

Fletcher Nail, manager of Cowboys Bar-B-Q & Steak Co., said in his statement that Cabrera threatened to kill him after he told Cabrera the restaurant was closing.

From Nail's statement: "... At that point, he turned to me and patted a bag he had on his shoulder. He then stated, ‘You don't know me.’ I responded, ‘No, sir, I do not.’ I walked toward the door and he followed me. I opened the door, but he stopped before exiting. He again stated, ‘You don't know me.’ Then he leaned down close to my face and stated, ‘I will kill you,’ again patting his shoulder bag.

"I stated, "Yes, sir, but you still have to leave.’ The man then looked around said, ‘I know all you, and I will kill all of you and blow this place up.’ I then called to the bartender, and I told her to call 911."
