Winter in Monroe

The beauty of Monroe continues in the winter months. Lights and water and snow and cold and buildings and dancers.

Special thanks to the dancers of the River Raisin Ballet Company.

Monroe, Michigan. The river is called RIVER RAISIN that flowed into Lake Erie. The river was named by French settlers because of the wild grapes that grew along the river. French name for grape is "Raisin".
