Friday Favorites

It's FRIDAY (although I swear, this week flew by... but maybe that's because I feel like I have 80 bazillion things to do and only like 3 hours to do them in)! Hopefully by this point you know what Friday means (other than the hubby and I hitting up our favorite Mexican restaurant for #AllTheChipsAndSalsa)... It's time to share some of my favorite things!

Brooks Heritage Collection

I am a HUGE lover of the Brooks Heritage Collection. Before my recent order (yup, I just ordered more shoes... because, who can ever have too many?!) I had four pairs from this line in my closet. And earlier this week I added three more ;) The Vanguard and Chariot models are my JAM! I love the look, the style, the colors, the fit, you name it, I love it! PS I do NOT wear these shoes to run, but they are definitely my preferred shoe to cruise around town in!

Patagonia Nano-Air® Jacket

The Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket was in my Friday Favorites a while back, but this is a new one. I recently had seen that REI was having a sale (yay for being a co-op member), so the jacket was 50% off the original price, then we got an extra 20% off and then the hubby had a $25 gift card that I "bought" off him. For the price, I legit think I STOLE this one!

Acts of Kindness

I came across this article a few weeks back and have had it open in a tab in one of my Internet browsers ever since. I love the idea that acts of kindness don't need to be HUGE or outrageous. There are small things we can do throughout our day that take very little effort but can make the world of difference! #DoGood #SpreadJoy #BeTheChange

Adoption Analogy

I don't know if it was because I was already in an emotion space after #Ragnar4Rett or if it was because we have been honored to have been a part of a couple different adoption proceedings, but this week's sermon at North Coast Church pulled on ALL my heart strings. Chris Hilken spent the majority of the time really diving into what it looks like to be adopted into God's family and it was an amazing message. And then when he brought his son up on stage... I LOST IT!

And with that I want to wish you a GREAT Good Friday and an AMAZING Easter Weekend! Here's to hoping you take a moment over the next few days to realize how truly and deeply and madly you are LOVED!

What are you loving lately?
