Instead of sleeping in I went out for a COLD bike ride... Thankfully it warmed up to the mid 70*s later in the day :)

Ryan asked me this week if we could do our long run (our last long run before his SECOND half marathon, whoooo hoooo!) on Friday instead of Saturday. (He said he wanted to have time to surf Saturday morning, and leaving me with a day to "sleep in" was FINE by me :) ) We ran a different route, which was nice (it felt like the miles just flew by - I would DEFINITELY suggest mixing up your running routes!).

We had a ton going on this week (work Christmas party Tuesday, 9/10 small group Wednesday, family birthday party Thursday, etc), but I was still able to get in all of my workouts. My biggest tip - put workouts in your schedule just like any appointment, and make it non-negotiable (obviously if your body tells you to take time off THEN TAKE TIME OFF, but if you just "don't want to" you still need to make it happen).

How were your workouts this past week?
