Disneyland Resort Closes AttractionsDisneyland Resort
Starting this week, Disneyland Resort is making changes to some of their attractions and shows due to the slower season according to officials.The Rivers of America is being drained for refurbishment, allowing workers to service the mechanisms that run the special effects. As a result, all river attractions will be closed until May including: Mark Twain Riverboat, Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, Sailing Ship Columbia and Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes. Also, the Tiana's Showboat Jubilee show concluded its run effective Sunday.
The Orange County Register reports that additional changes are planned for this week. Specifically, there will be no fireworks or parades until Friday when they will resume as scheduled.
