La Jolla Kayaking

The McClurgs are in town for a while, so we have been out and about checking out what San Diego has to offer. We decided last night that we wanted to go kayaking in the La Jolla Cove (and caves) so we started looking in to it. We found a place in La Jolla called La Jolla Surf Systems that rented out tandem kayaks for what we wanted to do. We went out for a good 2 hours or so. We saw a sea turtle, seals, orange fish (the man told us that they were California's state fish), a bunch of kelp and schools of fish and we even saw SHARKS!! The sharks were harmless and were actually super close in to the beach, so once we got out of the kayaks Ryan went back in to the water and was walking around near them to try and take pictures. We took a ton of pictures, check them out here is you get a chance.

I am in the process of uploading all of the pictures, so I can't put any on my blog yet, but I will try to remember to do it after they finish. Anyway, check them out in the album here (also, once I finish the upload I will be able to put captions on them all, so check back in a couple hours). http://picasaweb.google.com/Carlee6/Kayaking
