Jones, 32, was a frequent nemesis of the Tigers for seven seasons with the Minnesota Twins before signing with the Cubs two years ago. He averaged 25 home runs and 78 RBIs a season from 2004-2006 before hitting just five homers last year to go with 66 RBIs and a .285 batting average.
