Monday, June 21st – 13.13 mile run
Tuesday, June 22nd – 8.08 mile run
Wednesday, June 23rd – 90 minutes on the stationary bike
Thursday, June 24th – 10.10 mile run
Friday, June 25th – 90 minutes on the stationary bike
Saturday, June 26th – 13.13 mile run
Not a ton to say about my workouts this week other than I got them done and running at sea level takes much less oxygen sucking than running at 8,000+ feet above sea level ;) My legs (and body in general) felt a bit sluggish {sort of like a toy with drained batteries}, but that could be due to the new medication I started. Technically this was Week 2 of our training plan. The plan called for 6 miles on Sunday (which we had moved up to Saturday since we knew Sunday would be a travel day back from our Mammoth camping trip), 2 miles on Tuesday, 2 miles on Wednesday, 4 miles on Thursday, and 10 miles on Saturday. As you can see I'm not following it to a T, but figure as long as I am getting in at least the number of miles it calls for (as well as the back-to-back runs on the weekends), I am happy. Stoked with the 44.44 humid miles.
