Friday Favorites: Gladsoles

It has been couple weeks since I did my last installment of FRIDAY FAVORITES and I am so sorry about that (how lame am I?!)! But hopefully with this post (and GIVEAWAY) I will make up for it :)

I mentioned a few weeks back that I got my first pair of Gladsoles (barefoot running sandals). I have been wearing them now for quite a while and still really love them (hence why they are a Friday Favorite - duh :)). Feel free to check out my original review of them here.

I love wearing them to run (extremely minimalistic "shoe"), walk the dog, get groceries, hit up the beach, do PiYo in my living room, and just wear out and about. The more you wear them, the more they form to your feet and become like a second skin.

I wore them during the Color Me Rad 5K I ran this past weekend.

Walt the Wiener Dog and my Gladsoles at the Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals

Wearing them while doing a stairs workout at our place a few weeks back.

I always get a ton of questions when folks see me running in (or posting about) them, so now is your chance to try them out for yourself! I can only tell you how AWESOME they are so many times before you just have to take a step of faith, get a pair, and lace 'em up!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERS!! The giveaway runs through Thursday, September 4th (because obviously we need a winner before the next Friday Favorites is posted ;)). Enter early and enter often!!

And just in case you don't win, but still want to order a pair or two from Gladsoles (which I HIGHLY recommend) you can do it and save 15%! Just use code "carlee" on your online order.

I've never tried running barefoot. I think fear of my clumsiness and stubbing a toe has kept me from it. I think it would be worth a try.

I've heard such great things about Gladsoles and would love to give them a try! (And they are CUTE too!)

These seems super cute and comfortable. I think I'm more afraid of stepping on something that will mess up my knee or ankle.

I've never tried barefoot running. Living in the city, I'm worried about cutting my feet open or something like that. I think gladsoles is the closest I would get to barefoot.

I have heard great things about gladsoles! I use vibram five fingers and love barefoot running!

I'm dying to try a pair of gladsoles!

I have run barefoot before and my feet seem to attract all the pebbles and stickers around.

I haven't found the right shoes, and I'm glad you reviewed these because they look perfect!

I've never tried it, but have always wanted to!

Ugh been wanting these all summer!

I've never worn gladsoles before. I dabbled in running in vibrams for a while. These would be fun to try!

I have never tried running barefoot....I feel like my feet would have issues, since I have collapsing arches. Would love to try though!

I have not ever tried barefoot running but I do own minimalist running shoes which I love!

I'm curious but I haven't tried barefoot running. I'm on the fence since developing pf issues last spring but would still like to try them out.

I've run in Vibram 5 fingers, but that is as close as I've gotten.

I love glad soles! I got a pair and have walked all around in them and even did a crossfit workout in them! So awesome.

I have run in Nike Frees and I almost died. Is that close enough to barefoot running? I have really flat feet.

I have not tried barefoot running. The soles of my feet are sensitive so I like the idea of putting a sandal on them first before I try it.

I've never run barefoot before. I'm afraid of cutting my foot or just major calf pain from not being used to it.

Marianela said...

Nope. I haven't heard of them until now.

I have tried some minimalist shoes and barefoot running on sand. Can't say that I have loved the minimalists I have tried but I am always game to try new things and these are intriguing!

Can't say I've really ever tried running barefoot before (unless you count super-short distances)! I'm somewhat worried about broken glass and infected needles on the streets, but have been interested in the minimalist shoe side of it! I'd never heard of minimalist sandals til now!

(That dog is absolutely adorable. <3 )

Can't say I have ever run barefoot! I guess I would worry about stubbing my toe, stepping on a rock or cutting my foot or something!

I've never tried it before, since I'm a bigger guy and theres a good bit of impact from my stride. I'm open to giving it a try though. Always willing to try things once, or twice.

I have pretty sensitive feet, so I've never thought of running barefoot.

I have run barefoot on the beach before. The shells hurt.

I haven't run barefoot--it totally scares me that I'll get injured. Great post & giveaway!

I haven't ran barefoot before mainly because I'm nervous about my plantar fasciitis! It would definitely be an adjustment but I can so see myself wearing these out and about and gradually incorporate them into my running!

Danielle said...

I'm most worried about stepping on something with barefoot running which is why these would be great!

I have tried it and plan on retraining myself to run barefoot.
