Yesterday I received something in the mail from Aunt Kris (she is Ryan's "Aunt" but everyone calls her Aunt Kris). It was a flyer that she had sent out to people for a MAIL IN SHOWER for Ryan and I. I had never heard of anything like it. It had a really sweet poem and suggests that people send us wedding gifts during a specific week so that we get gifts all summer long - HOW AWESOME!! Ryan and I are soooo thankful for this amazing gesture. I wanted to let anyone know that might have gotten the flyer: PLEASE DO NOT MAIL GIFTS TO THE ADDRESS ON THE FLYER!
Please use the address that is located on the registries (which goes to my work address). The problem is that I live in a gated apartment complex so FedEx and UPS (which is what the gifts would come through) cannot get in to my complex and therefore cannot leave anything for me. Again, Ryan and I are soooo gracious for this, but just wanted to mention the address change is anyone had received it and thought about participating.
