cilantro is the first organic, vegan, and raw restaurant in san diego county. we first introduced this healthful way of eating in May 2003, and thanks to the wonderful support from our customers, friends, and staff, now offer our beautiful food in three convenient locations around san diego. the food at cilantro is prepared with natural and mostly organic ingredients, and without the use of any heat over ninety-five degrees. this process (or rather “un-process”) maintains the enzymes and nutrients present in the food, and helps the body stay balanced, nourished, and healthy. we don’t use any artificial additives, animal-derived products, canned foods, or processed ingredients, but rather make our delectable creations by using the ingredients that this wonderful planet offers: nuts, seeds, grains, sprouts, fruits and vegetables. nothing else.
