#RealTalk - This humidity (and now this heat wave) is sucking the pep out of my step... and sort of sucking the enjoyment out of the runs. Unless I start them super early, I am soggy pretty much from the jump and not 100% loving them. I realize summer running/ training isn't always fun, but I normally have fall races I am training for, so they make the "slog" worth it... With all of my fall races cancelled, it is taking some pure grit and dedication to get up when my alarm clock goes off every morning at 4:34am so I can get in a workout before working an 8 hour shift at the running store. Hopefully the fall temps are on their way (although I doubt anytime soon) and I will re-fall in love with running again sooner rather than later.

How were your workouts this past week?
