I am not sure if you noticed or not, but I have changed the title and heading of my blog. I have changed it to now read: "Be the change that you want to see in the world." - Gandhi /// This quote is now something that I want to live daily. I want to live differently, I want to love deeply, and most importantly I want to be the change. I don't just want to talk about it, but actually do it. I know that ONE person can make a difference, and I will be that one person. Even if what I do only makes a small difference, I want to be a difference maker, I want to be change. I can do it, and so can you. Be the change! Maybe you think I'm silly, young, naive, (or a plethora of other adjectives) but these are my feelings right now. I want to make a difference. I want to leave this Earth a different place than it was before I arrived back 23 years ago. I want to push the envelope. I want to reach out and help those around me. I want to give and not expect anything back in return. I want to live each moment thinking about what I can give and not about what I can get. Maybe everyone goes through a phase like this, where they think they can change the world, but I don't want this to just be a phase I'm living through, but something I am actually living out. I know it might be strange to think that 'one' person can change the world, but you know what, if movements didn't start with one person they never would have started in the first place. I am not saying I want to rule the world or anything like that, but I want to make a difference in my world. I know people are resistant of change, people like to be comfortable and content in their routine, but I want out of that box. I want to be mindful of everything around me, I want to love each and every person, I want to look back and see that I have made a difference and it starts TODAY.

Carlee -
I see you as a young woman of God who is always reaching beyond. You are bright, cheerful and always make me smile. You are also real - which I highly respect.
I think you are making a difference in this world. Maybe you don't realize that or can't see it - but rest assured, you are. I admire you :-)
Thank you for making your blog a place I enjoy hanging around even though I can't spend real time with you. One of these days I'm gonna buy myself a ticket to Cali and come stay with you and soak up some sun rays and Carlee rays!!
Thanks for being who you are :-)
