Workout Recap - Week 35

Sunday, August 25th – Easy 3 miles with the hubby (seeing as we hiked a mountain the day before and were supposed to be 'tapering' for our upcoming race(s)), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Monday, August 26th – Stationary bike for 60 minutes (17.71 miles), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Tuesday, August 27th – Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Wednesday, August 28th – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Thursday, August 29th –  Easy 3 miles with the hubby, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Friday, August 30th – "Rest" day (walked around Expo, to and from Meetups, around the parks for a while), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Saturday, August 31st Disneyland 10K (first leg of Dumbo Double Dare), Foam Rolled & Stretched 

Easy pace since I had the Disneyland Half Marathon the following morning

Stopped for fun character pictures along the course as well (which also effected my time)

All-in-all it was a good week. Lower mileage, but that was to prepare for our upcoming races so that we had fresh legs. Love that I have been able to do more and more of my workouts with my hubby - HE IS DA BOMB DIGGITY - and I love that we can spend time together while getting fit and staying active. This upcoming week will be more of a recovery week, but I do have another race this weekend - "just" a 5K, but I am going to try and PR in that distance - let's see how that goes :).
