San Juan Capistrano

Today we went to San Juan Capistrano for a mini day trip. We looked up a few geo caches (which by the way we were 3 for 3 - 100%, whoo hoo), wrote down the address of a petting zoo and figured we would just park by the train depot and walk around the little historic area. We spent most of our time at the Zoomar's Petting Zoo. Along with our admission we bought a couple of veggie trays to feed to the animals. Ryan fed them and I just pet and photographed them :). There were goats, mini horses, ostriches, llamas, cows, horses, birds, a giant tortious, giant bunnies, guinea pigs, and so much more. I took a TON of pictures, but a few of my favorite are below. (CHECK OUT THE REST OF THE 100+ PICTURES HERE).

If you are ever in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by. There are a ton of little shops to pop in. The San Juan Capistrano Mission is also up there. We were going to go in, but we spent our cash on the petting zoo and figured we would just cheat and look from afar. Check out the website for San juan Capistrano here with some of the other things this little town has to offer...

PS Here is a short video of Ryan feeding Chex, the horse :)

I live in Orange County and had the opportunity to visit the petting zoo as well. I had a great time with my family feeding the llamas, horses and other beautiful animals. Were also involved in helping the environment, to make sure that all these animals have a clean place to grow. You can check out our site at http://pcrecyclingcalifornia.com/orange-county-ca/san-juan-capistrano/. I'm sure if we can all help the environment will have a better place to live.
