Japan Travels

Good morning my blogging fans :) I wanted to ask for your prayers over the next couple days as Ryan and the team are preparing and heading over to Japan. Ryan just sent me this article today. It says -

Japan's weather agency issued alerts for heavy rains, floods and high waves, as residents in the southwestern island of Kyushu braced for the arrival of Typhoon Usagi. Almost 8,000 people were stranded by canceled flights.

The eye of Usagi, the fifth named storm of this year's western Pacific cyclone season, was 108 kilometers (65 miles) east of Kagoshima on Kyushu at 11 a.m. Tokyo time today, according to the latest advisory on Japan's Meteorological Agency Web site.

The typhoon, with sustained winds of 156 kilometers per hour and gusts to 221 kilometers an hour, is ``extremely strong,'' the Japan weather agency said. Usagi, which means rabbit in Japanese, was moving north-northwest at 30 kilometers per hour.

Please pray for their flights and the area that they are getting ready to go over to. Pray that the weather does not effect their travels and that GOD PREVAILS!
