Monday, September 14th – 8 mile progression run, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Tuesday, September 15th – Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), 5 mile run in the rain, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I swapped my 5-miler from tomorrow and today's rest day. Tomorrow's schedule filled up (I will be heading up to Malibu around 5am to cheer on a friend during a triathlon and then celebrating her accomplishment at Disneyland all day long), so I figured I'd switch my days so I could still get in the mileage that I needed.
The week overall had its ups and downs (a couple runs I felt like my legs just wouldn't start moving), but I'd rather have "those" runs during training and not during races, #AmIRightOrAmIRight?! I am also hoping that we are due for some fall temps soon (oh yeah, tomorrow's temperatures will be in the TRIPLE DIGITS when I'm at Disney - YAY), because I am over this "being drenched as soon as I start my run" weather!
