Workout Recap - Week 37

Sunday, September 6th – Disneyland Half Marathon, Foam Rolled & Stretched


Monday, September 7th – 8 mile run, Foam Rolled & Stretched


Tuesday, September 8th –  Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), 4 mile run, Foam Rolled & Stretched


Wednesday, September 9th –  19.65 mile bike ride, Foam Rolled & Stretched


Thursday, September 10th – 8 [pace] mile run on the treadmill, Foam Rolled & Stretched


Friday, September 11th –  17 mile run, Foam Rolled & Stretched


Saturday, September 12th – REST DAY, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Boy, the numbers look a bit crazy for this week (50.1 miles of running), but it is because last week's long run (which was actually the Disneyland Half Marathon) ended up on this week due to the way the race schedule worked out. I have to say, though, I think I earned my rest day!

This week was definitely a confidence booster. My pace, even with the heat wave we were having, was much better than it has been, especially during previous long runs. I am really hoping that if when we get some fall temperatures it will help me FLY (because the heat and humidity make me feel like I am dragging lately)!
