Plumber Truck
I have seen this before, but my padre sent it over again today and just had to re-post it. What an ingenious way to paint your plumbing truck, hehe:

Duct Tape Prom
If I would have known about this when I was in high school, I am sure I would have done it!! Look at their creativity!!Stuck at Prom
Have you ever considered making your prom dress or suit out of duct tape? No? How about for $3,000?
Duck brand Duct Tape have been organizing the “Stuck at Prom” competition for 10 straight years, challenging students to create original prom costumes using
as much duct tape as possible. Competitors’ costumes are judged according to the following criteria: workmanship, originality, use of color, accessories and amount of duct tape used. The 10 best costumes are subjected to an online vote.First place winners receive a $3,000 scholarship, second place gets $2,000, third place $1,000 and runners up receive $500. It may not seem like much, but in these troubled times any penny counts. And plus, you get to wear a cheap prom costume that will definitely catch everyone’s eyes.
Grown Up Wonka Kids
The Original 'Wonka' Kids All Grown Up!Oh, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory... We all know the path of Wonka himself, Gene Wilder. He went on to be an iconic part of Mel Brooks' oeuvre, the a-mazing partner in crime to Richard Pryor, "Letterman" in The Electric Company, and now -- memoir writer and novelist. But what about the kids he tormented with sweets and all things full of nice sugar and spice? Charlie Bucket, Violet Beauregarde, Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, and Mike Teevee? CNN gives a rundown with a group picture from the film's 30th anniversary, which you can see below, and then head to Celebuzz for current shots.
From left to right (below):
**Michael Bollner, or Augustus Gloop, is a tax attorney in Munich.
**Denise Nickerson, or Violet Beauregarde, went on to play a role in Dark Shadows before leaving the biz and becoming an accountant at an engineering plant.
**Paris Themmen, or Mike Teevee, has down a slew of things including commercial casting agent, Disney Imagineer, real estate agent, and autographs-for-sale website owner.
**Julie Dawn Cole, or Veruca Salt, has "a successful career in theater, television, and fitness."
**And finally, Peter Ostrum, or Charlie Buckett. Yes, that's him with the 'stache. He's a large animal vet in upstate New York.

A lot has changed in 40 years, eh? Still, most don't really surprise, except for Ostrum. Where'd the sweet-faced, tow-headed boy go?
WearOverlooked

BEFORE the earthquake 55% of Haiti lived on less than $1 a day and 1.8 million people were classified as "food insecure." Help us reach our goal of sending 50,000 meals. For every shirt that is sold we will send 50 meals through Feed My Starving Children.

Norline
Will you please join in prayer with us. My parents sponsor a girl in Haiti. They have sponsored her for the past 3 years or so. Her school is in the Port Au Prince area. She's 15 and her name is Norline Chery. Her father is Jules Chery. Her mother is Cene Francoise. She also has a sister (name not known). They live in Les Cayes and her school is Cite Absalon (neighborhood of Port Au Prince).
My mom has reached out to the organization that she sponsors Noraline through, but they are either overwhelmed or don't have much info to pass along (Their email back said: Thank you for caring, Friends. We do not know much yet about the situation in Haiti but your prayers are appreciated. It will take time to sort out the impact on our children but we will let the sponsors know if we receive news about specific children. You may check the our website at www.childcareministries.org or at www.fmwm.org click on "prayer" tab and look for hotline news for any updates we may have regarding the situation. Any and all donations are welcomed and may be directed through International Child Care Ministries-Haiti Special Project or the Bishops Famine/Relief Fund. Blessings!).
Please keep Noraline, her family, and Haiti in general in your prayers!! Thank you so much!!
