Another week of training in the books. If you remember last week, the hubby and I swapped our Saturday and Sunday runs because he was camping Friday night for a friend's birthday and we wanted to start our longer (18 vs 10 miles) run earlier in the morning (and I was working all day Saturday). With that being said, that's why it looks to have MORE miles this week (67.43) - since two of our long runs are being added in. I'm stoked about the speedy progression run I got in on Thursday (I actually had a few sub-8 minute miles which I wasn't sure my legs still knew how to run fast now that I'm adding in longer mileage), but bummed with how Saturday's run went. The issue with our 20-miler was my fibromyalgia was KILLING me. Every time I would take a breath my back was feeling insane pain... so much so that it was making me nauseous. Let's just say I had to keep giving myself pep talks every quarter mile or so, or else I probably would have ended up on the side of the trail crying my eyes out. But, like I told the hubby, I could either be in pain on the couch or in pain on the trails. Let's just hope my fibro flare settles down and I can use this one as more of a "mental training" run.

How were your workouts this past week?
