Workout Recap - Week 44

Sunday, October 25th – 12 mile run

Monday, October 26th – 90 minutes on the stationary bike

Tuesday, October 27th – 10 mile run

Wednesday, October 28th – Rest Day

Thursday, October 29th – 4 miles of running {Leg 1 of the 4 x 4 x 48 Challenge}

Friday, October 30th – 24 miles of running {Legs 2 - 7 of the 4 x 4 x 48 Challenge}

Saturday, October 31st – 20 miles of running {Legs 8 - 12 of the 4 x 4 x 48 Challenge}

There will be a separate post about the 4 x 4 x 48 Challenge I undertook this week, but suffice it to say I ran 48 miles within 48 hours, bumping my total for the week to 70 - BOOYA! I am sure next week will be a bit of a cutback week (not only to give my legs a break, but also so I can get a little extra sleep before waking up for work), but I'm stoked how the body held up through it all! I also know not everyone loves "falling back" with the time change because it's darker earlier in the evenings, but since it was already dark out when I got off of work (at 7pm) and it'll be lighter earlier in the mornings, I'm excited for the possibility of no longer having pitch-black pre-work runs (at least towards the end of them ;)).
