Monday, December 31st – 5.29 mile run with the hubby, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Tuesday, January 1st – 4 mile hike with the hubby and pup, 90 minutes on the stationary bike, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Wednesday, January 2nd – 6 mile run, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Thursday, January 3rd – 6 mile run, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Friday, January 4th – 11.11 mile trail run, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Saturday, January 5th – 6 mile run, Stretched & Foam Rolled
The taper is real... I was stoked to go up to Orange County and get in some trail miles with friends, but other than that I feel like my runs have been a bit of 'junk miles' - miles without a real purpose, no pushing of the pace, etc. But it's probably just the taper playing with my head - making me question my readiness, my training, my life ;) Can't believe that the next Workout Recap I post I will be an ULTRA MARATHONER and have a 50-miler under my belt (if all goes according to plan, that is ;) #AnythingCanHappen). Here's to a week of calm, sleep, foam rolling and good nutrition!
