Workout Recap - Week 5

I am so excited to get my hubby out with me for some of my workouts. Normally Thursdays (because of our Growth Group commitment) and Sundays are my rest days. Lately Ryan has been wanting to run a couple miles on Sundays (we are running the Disney Royal Family 5K with my parents in Orlando in a few weeks), which is super fun. We have just been running around the house and over to a nearby park - but hey, I am pumped he is getting out there with me. As I mentioned before, he will be running his first half marathon with me in September (WHOOO HOOO) so I am sure we will get serious about our Sunday runs in a couple months, but for now, a mile here or there is fine by me.

Sunday, January 27th - Easy 2.3 miles with the hubbyFoam Rolled & Stretched

Monday, January 28th - Long intervals on the elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Tuesday, January 29th - 3 hours of 'extreme segway riding'Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Wednesday, January 30th Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Thursday, January 31st - Rest Day

Friday, February 1st 10 milesFoam Rolled & Stretched

Saturday, February 2nd - 16 mile bike ride with the hubby

I am happy that I jumped on the Workout Recap craze. I think it helps keep me accountable, as well as it is a good way to reflect on what I have been doing, what I can do to keep my workouts 'new and exciting', see where my downfalls may be, etc. It is sort of like a food diary - when you have to write it down it makes you think about it a little more beforehand.
