Sunday, November 19th – 9 mile run with the hubby, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Tuesday, November 21st – Rest Day, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Wednesday, November 22nd – 13.5 miles of hiking
Thursday, November 23rd – McDot Tofurkey Trot 5K with the hubby & 4.5 miles of hiking
Friday, November 24th – 10 miles of hiking, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Saturday, November 25th – Rest Day, Stretched & Foam Rolled
This week was all about going with the flow. Normally when I am marathon training I am very anal about getting runs done NO MATTER WHAT! Well, since I'm technically not using a training plan right now (just running the hubby's long runs with him as he gets ready to tackle the Phoenix Marathon as his FIRST FULL and getting in additional mileage during the week), I didn't stress about getting in runs while camping in Zion. The hubby and I got in one legit run (on Thanksgiving morning) and then ran down two of our longer hikes (Angels Landing {about 2.5 miles} and Observation Point {about 4 miles}). But even without runs we still made sure to get our steps in while exploring the National Park!
