Sunday, October 16th – Rest Day
Monday, October 17th – 90 minutes on the stationary bike
Tuesday, October 18th – 5 mile progression run
Wednesday, October 19th – 10 mile run
Thursday, October 20th – 5 mile run
Friday, October 21st – Rest Day
Saturday, October 22nd – Lake Hodges Trail Fest 50K
This week was a bit of a mishmash. I swapped my lower midweek mileage from last week to this week because I had a 50K on Saturday (and figured it was as much of a "taper" I could get ;)). I technically had 20 miles on the calendar for Saturday and 10 miles for Sunday, but when I won the 50K entry I figured I'd do them all at once and take a rest day on Sunday (next week). I'll definitely do a full recap of the race soon, but I'm stoked that my body held up (at least for the first 20 miles) and I actually came in FOURTH FEMALE OVERALL (who doesn't love smaller, local races?!)! Now a bit of a cutback week next week before heading to New York for the NYC Marathon (I can't believe it is only two weeks away!).
