Workout Recap - Week 31

Sunday, July 30th – 16 mile run (Goal: 8 @ 8:00, 8 @ 7:35), Stretched & Foam Rolled


Monday, July 31st – 7 mile run {1 mile warm-up, 10 x .25 mile hill repeats, 1 mile cool-down}, Stretched & Foam Rolled


Tuesday, August 1st – 6 mile run (Goal HR 150), Stretched & Foam Rolled


Wednesday, August 2nd – 9.53 mile run (Goal: 1 mile warm-up, 4 x 400 {at 6:40 pace w/ 2:00 recovery}, 6 x 800 {at 7:00 pace w/ 2:00 recovery}, 4 x 400 {at 6:00 pace w/ 2:00 recovery}), Stretched & Foam Rolled


Thursday, August 3rd – 6.2 mile run with the hubby


Friday, August 4th – 4 mile hike with friends


Saturday, August 5th – 2.25 mile hike with friends, Stretched & Foam Rolled

This week, since we were in camping in Mammoth and visiting Lake Tahoe for a wedding, I swapped some of my workouts around (don't worry, I chatted with the coach beforehand). Normally I would have had a recovery run on Monday, but since I wasn't sure about doing a track workout while out of town, I moved that recovery run to Thursday and pushed my other workouts up a day earlier. My run on Thursday should have been run with a goal heart rate of 150, which it wasn't, but we did run at elevation (around 6,500 feet above sea level). Friday I should have had a 2 mile run (with a goal heart rate of 150), but we hiked with friends instead. Even still, I'll still take the week as a success.
