Oopsy, I guess someone wasn't spell checking the Piston's jerseys. Look closely at the picture. See anything wrong? If you don't, you're either not looking hard enough or don't know how to spell Rip Hamilton's name. That's the jersey he wore for the start of Tuesday's game against the Nuggets until the team eventually noticed and gave him some new threads.
Maybe I could understand a missing consonant from Walter Herrmann's jersey, but Hamilton's name is neither hard to spell nor unfamiliar, as Dana Wakiji of the Detroit News points out:
But I mean, really. Is it his first year with the team? I don't think so. And I don't think it's a tough name to spell. World-wide Wes is blaming Rasheed for it, but we'll have to see who ends up taking the blame for this one.
