Well, as you can see, I'm giving my hip flexor a week off to get it back to fighting strength (or so I hope it'll only take a week to get back to 100%!). I felt a niggle in my left hip flexor/ groin about two weeks before my race so I took a couple extra rest days and then biked more than ran and it felt good at the race... until it didn't... About 11 miles into the race it started making its presence known... This week I limped around for the first few days and then by Thursday the ache while I was walking went away (but I still didn't want to test it with pounding the pavement quite yet). Next week I plan to get back to running if my body will allow... and, if it won't, then I'll jump on the bike and at least get the legs a movin'.
