Workout Recap - Week 45

Sunday, October 31st – 3 mile run with the hubby

Monday, November 1st – 10.10 mile run

Tuesday, November 2nd – Rest Day

Wednesday, November 3rd – 10.10 mile run

Thursday, November 4th – Rest Day

Friday, November 5th – 10.10 mile run

Saturday, November 6th – Bike The Coast 50-Mile Bike Ride 

Originally I thought I'd tackle 15 miles on Sunday. The hubby said he'd do 3 with me, so I figured I'd do 12, then wake him up and do 3 with him. Well, when my alarm went off at 4:30am I was having NONE of it, so decided to sleep until I got the hubby up and then thought I could do my 12 afterwards... but after we did our 3 together we started doing all of the last minute moving stuff, so my extra miles took a backseat. Sometimes life (or your runs) doesn't go to plan and THAT'S OKAY! Monday morning, before having to be out of the condo by 9am, I woke up and got in some of those miles, tackling my final run from the condo. Since our new (to us) place is still in the renovation phase, some friends were gracious enough to let us stay with them for a few days. With that said I was trying my hardest not to be an inconvenience with my silly run start times, so took more rest days than I normally would (also, my stationary bike is over in the garage of our new place, so I can't really use it right now), but I'm sure my body is appreciative for the extra sleep. I keep having to remind myself (and the hubby) that this is just for a season... we will be back to our (new) routine in no time, so we just need to take a deep breath, enjoy the process and be thankful for everything we have right now! [PS I forgot I had the 50-mile bike ride so my running is short for the week because I figured I could get in a longer run on Saturday... oops!]
