Tuesday, February 4th – 4 mile run with the hubbyWednesday, February 5th – Rest Day
Thursday, February 6th – 4.14 mile run
Friday, February 7th – Rest Day
Saturday, February 8th – Mesa Marathon
Race week always means fewer miles. Even though I am technically using the Mesa and Los Angeles Marathons as training runs for my 50K in a couple weeks, I am still trying to taper a bit and take it easy before the long runs. I would love to say that my legs felt fresh and springy this week, but that was not the case - they definitely didn't feel as refreshed as I would have liked... but thankfully Mesa wasn't a goal race and I was just tying to get more "time on my feet". I will share the recap of the race tomorrow (hopefully), but for now I am pleased with how the week went.
