Staying Hydrated
Remember when I posted a couple weeks back about my hydration challenge that I was posing to myself? Well, the three weeks is complete and I am fully hydrated ;) From October 17th through November 7th I drank approximately 100 ounces a day. I would say that the challenge was a success, and even if I may not drink the full 100 ounces from here forward, this challenge helped to re-instill the habit of drinking more water and staying hydrated!
Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket
Let's be real, we don't need "winter" jackets in Southern California. Sure, it's nice to have a decent one in case you travel to Michigan for the holidays or Big Bear for a weekend getaway, but for the most part you don't get much use out of anything thicker than a hoodie in SoCal (and that is EXACTLY how I like it). With that said, the hubby and I ordered Patagonia Nano Puff jackets. We are stoked to put them to the test when we go to Yosemite in a couple weeks for a camping trip! [Mine is Epic Blue and the hubby's is Grecian Blue.]
As close to 'twinning' as I am comfortable with ;) |
Handful Super Sale
You know I love me my Handful bras. And you also know I am frugal and love me some deals! So obviously the SUPER SALE going on over at Handful makes my list of faves this week. In case you missed my post on Wednesday, you are able to get over 30% off the Spring 2016 Line if you order between now and Wednesday, November 16th. If you missed out on the last FLASH SALE or simply need to stock up on more bras (or tanks) {because, let's be real, one can never have too many, #AmIRight?!}, then do NOT delay!
lululemon SeaWheeze 2014 yoga practice
Kelly mentioned this yoga practice in a post a couple weeks back and I have had the tab open on my computer as to not forget it. I was finally able to do the practice on Monday and I LOVED it! It is perfect for runners (DUH - I mean lulu did have Goldie put it together for the 2014 SeaWheeze Half Marathon) and my body totally needed it. The practice is about 45 minutes long, includes lengthening, gentle stretching, some twisting and a little core work (good for a rest day, or even before or after a run). It had my body singing 'hallelujahs' afterwards! [It also was a not so subtle reminder of how not flexible I am... and how I MUST start focusing on that!]
Election Season is OVER
Last but definitely not least - now that Trump was elected on Tuesday, we can stop with all the political crap, right?! I mean, this election was sooooo divisive, it had friends hating friends and families turning against each other - so much divisiveness. Oh yeah, and not to mention the number of trees that will no longer be killed for the political propaganda sent in the mail (who actually reads that stuff anyway?!). PS This was the first year we were mail-in voters and it was FABULOUS! I don't know why we waited so long to do it! The only downfall was our county doesn't include the "I Voted" stickers with your paperwork so you have to physically drop your ballot off if you really want one.
And with that, it's the WEEKEND! VEGAS BOUND, BABY!
What are you loving lately?
