Results

I forgot to post about the results from my... fun... colonoscopy that I had a couple days before the wedding. I set up an appointment for the Friday we got home. I went in and the doctor saw me right away (which was very nice, since I was there about 30 minutes early and was coming from our current place, which is now about 45 minutes away from the doctors office). Anyway, so I went in. She said that all of the biopsies that they took came back normal. She said that I don't have Krone's disease or anything like that. She said that she felt comfortable describing my condition as IBS. She put me on a medication (which is a medication that used to be used for an antidepressant, but now is used for IBS, I guess it relieves the cramping and other symptoms that I experience). I have been on it for a couple days and it seems to be working fine. I haven't been out to eat yet, so I am not sure how it will stand up against food that I am not personally preparing (I think Ryan and I will go grab food tonight, so wish us luck). Anyway, so I guess it is good that we now know what I have, but it is a pain since you can't "heal it/ fix it/ etc". Hopefully I will be able to get it under control sooner rather than later (even though it has already been about 3 years). Thanks for your prayers everyone!!
