Workout Recap - Week 49

Sunday, December 1st – Travel dayFoam Rolled & Stretched

Monday, December 2nd – Elliptical for 60 minutes, 105 squats (day 1 and 2 of the Squat Challenge I am participating in)Foam Rolled & Stretched

Tuesday, December 3rd –  Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), 60 additional squats (part of the Squat Challenge I am participating in)Foam Rolled & Stretched

Wednesday, December 4th –  Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Thursday, December 5th –  Stationary bike for 60 minutes (17.92 miles) & 70 squats (part of the Squat Challenge I am participating in)

Friday, December 6th – 6 steady miles, 75 squats (part of the Squat Challenge I am participating in), Foam Rolled & Stretched

This week was okay. Getting back into the swing of things after being in Michigan for Thanksgiving (and getting ready to head back for a week over Christmas. Ryan and I have our last half marathon of the year in three weeks, so we need to make sure that we get our workouts in, even during the busy and hectic season. 

Friday's run was a confidence booster. I went out wanting to do negative splits (meaning each mile is faster than the one before), but when I saw my first mile at 8:54 I was worried I wouldn't be able to make it happen. I am HAPPY to report I was able to keep with the negative splits though [8:54, 8:50, 8: 43, 8:30, 8:21, 7:49]. I have to say, not too shabby after a long week!
