Why is Chipotle giving away free food??
It is a Chipotle tradition to open new stores with a free day. However, we had some building issues at our store - there was no back emergency exit. The fire dept limited our capacity to 49 persons at a time including staff, which is why we had to sometimes ask patrons to wait outside. The building issue is now resolved and a new fire exit was constructed. So now we can finally have our free day!
