REVIEW: Run With Perseverance (& GIVEAWAY)

Who doesn't love CUTE workout gear?! Just because we are sweating like pigs (that means it's working, right?! Or at least that is what I tell myself), doesn't mean we have to look all lame and frumpy, right?!

Well, I FOUND AWESOME RUNNING TANKS AND NEED TO SPREAD THE WORD!! I was on Etsy the other day and I came across Run With Perseverance. As soon as I clicked on a couple of the tops I KNEW I found gold! I think I want one of every single design!

I sent Kathy, the owner, a message, seeing if she would be interested in me doing a review and giveaway of her AMAZING gear (although it seems as though she needs NO HELP selling her sweet stuff). I was THRILLED to hear back that she wanted to team up!

We emailed back and forth a few times, and low-and-behold I realized I ALREADY HAD one of her AWESOME tank tops!

You see, for Christmas 2012, my sister-in-law got me a super cute tank top. We were running the runDisney Princess Half Marathon together in February of 2013, so she knew it would be a perfect gift! It said "Forget the glass slipper, this princess wears running shoes". It was so perfect, in fact, that I ended up wearing it for the race!

Although I had worn this sports bra MANY times before, due to the heat and humidity the color ran all over my tank and skin. I was so sad that I ruined my new tank top. THANKFULLY soaking the tank in cold water for the afternoon got it looking brand new!

Kathy was so sweet and offered to send me another one of her tanks so that I could review it. OF COURSE I ACCEPTED WITH OPEN ARMS!! I have to say, I was more than a little giddy when the package arrived.

I knew right away that I would wear the tank for my upcoming California 10/20 race. The race was 10 miles along the Pacific Coast - a PERFECT place to preview the top! I knew I would be "Kickin' Asphalt" the whole way, so figured the tank would go GREAT!

The tank tops are DEFINITELY great workout attire! The material is super soft, breaths well (even in insanely hot and humid weather), doesn't bunch or ride up (even when a bib is pinned to it), and is SUPER CUTE to boot! I would (and WILL) wear these tanks when I'm not working out too, so don't think these are only running tanks - you can wear them every day as well! Also, I know the rule of thumb in running is to never wear anything new on race day (since you don't know how it will feel, if it will rub funny, etc), but I wore these tanks for the first time during these races and had ZERO issues. And like the tag line says, these tanks will "getcha noticed" - I received MANY compliments (I even had one of the official photographers on the California 10/20 course call me out by the tank!).
