Workout Recap - Week 3

Sunday, January 12th – Rest Day (since I didn't have one the previous week)

Monday, January 13th – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched 

Tuesday, January 14th –  Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Wednesday, January 15th – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Thursday, January 16th – Rest Day, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Friday, January 17th – 20 mile bike ride, Volunteered at Carlsbad Marathon Expo for 5 hours, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Saturday, January 18th 10.5 miles for #MEGSMILES, Foam Rolled & Stretched 

This past week was the last one "in the gym" - at least for a while. As I mentioned earlier in the week, I left my job that I was at for over five years. With that job, one of the perks we had was that we could use the hotel gym (since we rented office space through the hotel). I am excited to start switching things up soon! It seems as though I had kept things pretty consistent for the last year or year and a half, so I am pumped to start adding variation. Some things I am hoping to add into my weekly workouts - yoga, speed work, running on different terrains (potentially trail running, running on the sand at the beach, etc), and potentially swimming (I am TERRIBLE at it, which is why I always try to avoid it, but since we have a pool at our complex that barely gets used, maybe I should try it out - at least every couple weeks).
