L stood for LEGOS, LEMONADE, LUNCHABLES, and LICORICE!
When we were out on our bike ride yesterday morning we were trying to come up with ideas for our L date. We were throwing things out like - llamas, La Costa, lizards, lagoon, Leucadia, laughs, etc. Then I remembered something that Ryan LOVED doing when we were back in Michigan visiting our nephews - BUILDING LEGOS! Other than ice skating (which unfortunately didn't happen for our I date), I think this was the date Ryan has been the most excited about :)
I had to return something at a store, so while Ryan and Walt went up to the park, I went to run errands. On the way home I grabbed some Legos and some additional fun little kid type things. I originally picked up a Star Wars Lego set, but when I scanned the price and saw $90 I quickly put it back and settled on the aviation set. Although not Star Wars we were able to pick our own adventure and do an airplane, helicopter (which Ryan decided we would build) or a bi-plane.
And honestly, when was the last time you had a LUNCHABLE?!
Of course we had to drink lemonade (at times out of licorice straws :) ).
If you have been following my blog for much time at all, I am sure you have already come to the conclusion, we are just LITTLE kids in BIG kid bodies :) But we LOVE IT! And I wouldn't have it any other way!
