Day 14 of 12 Days of Carlee's Christmas

Thanks so much for stopping by CarleeMcDot.com today. Whether you've been following along on my journey since I started this blog TEN YEARS AGO or you stopped by for the first time today - WELCOME!

And no matter how long you've been visiting, you picked an AMAZING time to pop in because we're celebrating my #12DaysOfCarleesChristmas {read my post announcing this series HERE if you don't know what I'm talking about}.

Today is Day 14 of my #12DaysOfCarleesChristmas! And the prize today is pretty FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC! Although, to be honest, all of the prizes are AMAZEBALLS! If I could enter my own giveaways I'm pretty sure I would enter each and every one of them in this series because they are just that awesome.

Up for grabs today are: 14 NATHAN MagStrobe Lights.

For today, DAY FOURTEEN, fourteen winners will be selected, each winning a NATHAN MagStrobe light.

I have a ton of NATHAN products - from a hydration vest to handhelds to travel water bottles and more. They are helping athletes run stronger and longer (and I know they're an asset that I'm thankful for on a daily basis in my life)!

Although NATHAN tends to be known for their hydration gear, I love that they have been releasing some AMAZING lights and reflective gear (especially since the sun seems to set at about 3pm nowadays). I have a few of their lights already (the StrobeLight LED Clip that I got after my first Ragnar because it works perfect for a light on your back and the Lightbender RX Lighted Armband that has become a staple in morning and evening activities to make sure others see me) and from everything I've seen thus far, I know they only offer quality products.

So when NATHAN wanted to join in on a BONUS day and offered up FOURTEEN Mag Strobe LED Clip Lights I knew you all would be over the moon! These things may appear small, but, man, they are mighty! This super-lightweight clip-on combines LED strobes with hi-viz reflective materials for added safety when you’re out at night. It is a featherweight reflective clip-on with a built-in strobe light. The magnetic flap clips on anywhere. It is battery powered, with 45+ hours of burn time {Steady on – 35+ hours, Fast Strobe – 40+ hours, Slow Strobe – 45+ hours}.

Seven winners will receive the Safety Yellow/ Black and seven winners will receive the Cockatoo/ Bluestone

Entering this giveaway (along with the other #12DaysOfCarleesChristmas giveaways) is easy-peasy! Simply use the Rafflecopter widget listed below on the giveaway blog post and cross your fingers. Some entries are available daily so I'd HIGHLY recommend entering early and often. (Shoot, I would even go as far as suggesting you set an alarm to remind you to come back to this page every 24 hours so you can take advantage of as many entries as possible!)

a Rafflecopter giveaway
Now, the nitty gritty details... All entries are verified, so please make sure to do whatever the required action for the entry is or it will be disqualified. I would hate for you to miss out on winning due to a technicality, so if you are going to click the option, make sure you do whatever it asks or a new, random winner will be selected in your place.

Also, this giveaway will last seven days, with the winners being picked (and notified) on the eighth day. The winners will have 24 hours to reply to the congratulations email from me to claim their prize. That means, for this giveaway, it will end on December 20th at 11:59pm PST and the FOURTEEN winners will be chosen on December 21st.
[PS I will be traveling for the holidays when these winners are selected, and will not be packing all the goodies in my carry-on, so the prizes will be shipped once I return home at the end of the month. Hope that's okay with the winners!]

And, finally, the winners must have a US mailing address. International shipping seems to cost an arm and a leg these days, and customs is a major headache, so to make it easier (and cheaper) on the brands who have offered up their products, the winners must live in United States of America (or at least have an address we can ship to within the US).

With that said, BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERS! And don't forget to stop back tomorrow to see what is up next in my #12DaysOfCarleesChristmas (I promise you do NOT want to miss out on any of these giveaways!)!

I wear a headlamp when I run at night. (I need to upgrade to a Nathan headlamp though..)

I use my reflective vest and a headlight for runs in the dark

I have a flashlight that has a strap that wraps around my hand. I'm generally not a fan of carrying things, but the strap makes it so I don't necessarily have to hold on to the light. In addition to lighting the path in front of me, it also has a blinking red light on the back. I also have a light that clips on to the brim of my hat and a reflective vest. I'm not messing around with running in the dark :)

My Nathan handheld torch -- I love it!!

I have what I like to call my safety patrol vest (because it reminds me of the getup I had to wear as a safety patrol in elementary school)!

Toss up between a light and reflective gear.

I need a light first and foremost. I use a Petzl headlamp right now. Reflective gear comes next.

My headlamp is the most important piece I wear in the dark. These lights look like they'd help too!

I'm scared ...make that terrified of the dark but I also LOVE my Ragnar Relays so I strap on as many lights as possible. Never have to many lights for this chicken 😂

Since joining a run club, I do night running...I use the street lights, but need something to stand out!

I always wear my flashing arm band light and at least one piece of reflective gear.

either reflective gear or my headlamp!

Bright lights -- you need to be seen from far away.

I don't usually run in rhe dark, but my schedule will soon be changing and I'm going to have to. This Nathan product will come in very handy.

Unknown said...

I make sure to have my knuckle lights on, as well as a reflective vest!!

Two things are vital for night running. My headlamp and also a reflective jacket. You can never have enough reflective gear!

Living in Portland/Vancouver area I am always running in dark ...so i love everything flashy, blinky and reflective! And i LOOOVE Nathan products!

jessiewynne said...

Reflective gear! I run in the city so cars need to be able to see that I'm a runner in the wee hours of the morning!

Tara said...

If I run in the dark I make sure I wear neon colors to be seen.

I think reflective gear (and pepper spray) are key.

I absolutely love having reflective gear. Winters are tough in the Central Time zone!

I wear reflective gear, but lights would definitely help!

I have a bulky headlamp but I am not a fan.

I absolutely love having reflective gear. Winters are hard...for me

Mommarunsthecape said...

Bright reflective clothing, my headlamp and knuckle lights. It is so hard to run in the winter here. It's not a law to shovel sidewalks, bike paths are low priority and the snow/ice is on the shoulder so you end up in the middle of the street.

Unknown said...

Amazer gloves! Look them up on amazon..they are AMAZING!

Meesh said...

Awesome! I have never seen these, and I have lots of other Nathan stuff. I wear a vest and also a blinking light on my shoe currently.

I don't have any! I'm awful and I run with my phones flashlight on!

Just recently purchased a vest, based on your recommendation, love it!

I run with pepper spray! Occasionally a light. Besides that, I am usually a runner

It's not safe to run in the dark in my neighborhood, no matter what you have on, but if it was in a safer place, I'd wear my reflective vest and head lamp.

Unknown said...

This would be a perfect addition to my running gear if I join my local running club that runs at night.

Unknown said...

My flashlight for sure!

Be alert and pay attention. Gear related: Headlamp, other lights, reflective materials.

I don't really run int he dark. In Alaska, its light most of the summer, and its too cold for me to be out in the dark in the winter. But, early spring mornings I do wear flashers on my feet and reflective strips on my pants. I have a headlamp but it usually isn't THAT dark when i'm out.

Unknown said...

I could definitely use one, can never be too bright with the way people drive in my neighborhood!

Sarah Welch said...

I have a Nathan's vest I wear.

My most important gear for running in the dark is 1. My headlamp and 2. Some sort of reflective piece

MollyKingsley said...

My most important gear is definitely my Nathan head lamp. It has a bright beam in the center and then colored lights on the sides. It makes me feel so much safer on the roads!

Ellen said...

I love running outside during the winter, but it's so dark in the Midwest. I wear clips if it's dark (but I lost one last year) or my brightest clothes during the days. With everything so grey and brown I want drivers to see me.

Ellen said...

Carlee, I put the wrong handle in the responses above for Twitter. It's @mcstellen and I did tweet. Thanks!

Unknown said...

Reflective gear is the most important for me.

Unknown said...

Like it!! Never use it before

Knuckle lights ... and I a friend so I'm not running alone

Unknown said...

I've been running at the gym lately because I find it so hard to chose between reflective/light-up gear. Its hard to come by physical gear in my town and I hate buying things online before seeing them in action!

I am very cautious since once I got hit while a driver was doing a right turn on red in day light. So my best tip is, go on the treadmill or find day light. Would be excited to try the Nathan MagStrobe Lights so I can run outside again!

I bring a little swiss army knife. I also don't listen to music when I run so I am fully aware of my surroundings (scary people, cars, dogs, etc...)
