Workout Recap - Week 42

Sunday, October 11th – 5 mile run, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Monday, October 12th – 8 mile run, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Tuesday, October 13th –  20 mile run, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Wednesday, October 14th –  Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), 5 mile progression run, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Thursday, October 15th – 5 mile pace run, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Friday, October 16th –  REST DAY (Travel day), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Saturday, October 17th – 2 mile Nike+ shakeout run, Foam Rolled & Stretched

A week including 45 miles of running, a strength training workout, and two straight days of walking around the city of San Francisco - PHEW. A busy week, but lots of fun! It's just about taper time... I've got another half marathon between now and REVEL, but the hubby and I will be running RnRLA for fun (and I will be fully costumed ;)), so it is time to slow down in hopes of speeding up on race day.

Normally taper time equals craziness, but I think I am looking forward to more time to SLEEP and NAP! Man, I am wiped from these past few weekends and multiple 3am 20-milers. Bring on the extra time to rest (especially because I do NOT want to get sick)!
