After work I got ready, grabbed some extra water, and headed to the garage to go for my ride. Here in lies the first issue. I realized on the walk to the garage that I didn't have the garage door opener... Yup... BIG PROBLEM! See, the garages at our condo are all in a line around the perimeter of our complex - the only way into them is through the large garage door... which I didn't have the remote for.
CHANGE OF PLANS
So I decided I would head back upstairs and bust out a PiYo workout instead. I did Sculpt, which was a sweaty 30 minutes and then thought I would go to the pool for an extra workout. Got my bathing suit, my waterproof watch, and headed to the pool. Here in lies the second issue. THE POOL WAS CROWDED. See, we have a community pool at our complex, which is awesome, and normally no one is really using it, but today it was near 90*, so kids were splashing around after they got home from school.
CHANGE OF PLANS
Well, since I was already in my bathing suit and since the temperature was a little too high to go out for an afternoon run, I decided my PiYo sweat-fest would be the only workout of the day and I would soak up some sun for a bit.

Tomorrow I am planning on getting in a run of around 10 miles or so. Hopefully there won't be another change of plans... But ya know what?! I don't start on my next training plan until Sunday, so if something comes up, I need to embrace it and keep a smile on my face!

How are you about changing plans? Are you more of a "go-with-the-flow" person? Or do you like to stick to the schedule TO THE T?

Getting 30 miles in would have been awesome! Hmmm...I know why we are the "same"...lol. I don't usually put a stock in astrological signs, but it's nice to read some of that stuff and know it's almost all true! When changes happen, I first get irritated and then try to make the best of it. I may not like it, but I'm the type of person to make sure I've exhausted all my avenues before "going with the flow". So if I was determined to ride my back, I would have called the wife first...made, I mean ask her to come home. If that wasn't going to work, I would have seen if I could have borrowed a bike from any of my friends who have bikes. If none of them have bikes, I might, might have bought a bike (assuming I have my wallet and funds), take it for 30 miles and then return it next day...Bwahahahahaha! just kidding...i wouldn't go that extreme...but yeah....something like that =). Thanks for the shout out. Seriously think about 31 miles for 31 next year!
